Why consoles slipped
ArcheAge Chronicles was revealed in September 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, originally aimed at 2025 with Kakao Games publishing. In 2026 XLGAMES took over publishing and chose to start with Steam Early Access, collecting feedback before a full release. The console store pages still exist; the official site lists them as wishlist-only.
Crossplay
Nothing official yet. Some console store listings show cross-platform tags, but XLGAMES hasn’t confirmed whether PS5 and Xbox players will share servers with PC. We’ll update this when console dates are announced.
