What you get
- One edition — the base game. No Deluxe, Founder’s or Supporter pack has been announced.
- Pre-order bonus: Dawn Pioneer Set — an exclusive costume set, one per pre-order, for a single class of your choice. It can’t be bought later.
- Everything in Early Access: three regions, four classes, dungeons, raids, PvP channels, crafting, housing and trade — see what’s in Early Access.
How to claim the Dawn Pioneer pre-order bonus
Steam’s own instructions:
- Create a character and go to the main menu.
- Hold the [Claim Reward] button in the upper-right corner of the main menu, or hold N.
- Open the Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest from your Inventory.
It’s one-time and bound to the character that claims it — it can’t be moved to another character later, so claim it on the class you plan to keep playing.
Is it pay to win?

What XLGAMES has said so far:
- No cash shop during Early Access.
- Executive Producer Ham has pledged the game will never sell power. If a shop arrives later, it’s meant for expansions, cosmetics and convenience, and they say they’ll share the plan before it goes live.
- Buy-to-play was chosen on purpose — the producer explains the reasoning in the official “Early Access Content, Future Plans & Pricing” video.
Why people ask: the original ArcheAge (2013) was free-to-play with a cash shop that many players called pay to win, and ArcheAge War is a separate free-to-play mobile/PC MMO from Kakao Games. ArcheAge Chronicles is a different game with a different model — see ArcheAge Chronicles vs ArcheAge.
